About 25 years ago, I was stressing about a case in my practice as a psychotherapist. Consequently, I woke up one morning with a humdinger of a crick in my neck. It proceeded to get worse, so I went to the doc in the box on the corner, and he prescribed a muscle relaxer. After taking the medication for approximately 3-4 weeks without any relief, I started quest to find out what was really wrong with me.

Symptoms can include:

Chronic muscle pain, spasms, or tightness

Fatigue and decreased energy

Insomnia

Stiffness

Difficulty remembering things

Irritable bowel syndrome

Tension or migraine headaches

Jaw and facial tenderness

Sensitivity to such things as: noise, bright lights, heat, and cold, to list a few

Anxiety and depression

Numbness or tingling in extremities

I developed planters faciotu

Increased urination

Muscle pain, I felt like an octopus was attached to my back!

Swelling in hands or feet

This is not a complete list! I am always hearing folks talk about additional symptoms that they experience.

All I know is that fibromyalgia is the pits!!!!!

Please feel free to share your experiences with this and other related pain conditions!

Take care.
